This year’s Levy Institute conference will feature panel discussions exploring current sources of financial instability, surveying the macro picture for the US economy, and engaging with economic policy challenges in areas such as artificial intelligence, jobs, caregiving, energy, and development finance.

The Levy Economics Institute Anniversary Conference will take place on May 8th, 2026. The program is tentatively scheduled to run 8:45am-5:30pm, with a reception to follow (N.B.: these times are subject to change; a full schedule will be posted here once finalized: https://www.levyinstitute.org/events/event/levy-economics-institute-anniversary-conference/ ). The conference will take place at the home of the Institute, Blithewood Manor, on the Bard College Campus, which is a roughly two-hour drive north of New York City and its surrounding airports.
Registered conference guests will be provided with lunch at the event.
A discounted rate ($129 for the evening of 5/7 and $159 for the evening of 5/8) for conference guests has been arranged with the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Kingston/Ulster, a 15-minute drive from the Bard College campus. (Instructions for booking at the hotel, along with other logistical and travel tips, will be provided to registered conference guests.) A shuttle will be available for hotel guests. The fee for the full 2026 conference, due upon registration, is $50 for non-Bard students and $150 for professionals/other non-students.
