2018 Fall Open House

The day centers around activities that allow students and their families to explore the campus and experience the excitement of Bard College classes.

Check-in is at the Reem-Kayden Center, where students will be directed to their classes in the Olin Humanities Building. All other visitors will attend a Q&A in Olin Auditorium with Leon Botstein, president of the College. Campus tours begin at Olin and end at the Bertelsmann Campus Center, where lunch will be served. Representatives from the Admission, Student Affairs, Career Development, Study Abroad, and Residence Life offices, as well as the Dean of the College, will be available to answer your questions.

In order to have good discussions, students are encouraged to complete short readings in advance. (These classes are modeled on Bard's First-Year Seminar.)
