It is aimed at developing skills in geospatial visualization and identifying spatially driven relationships in data using open-source GIS tools, as well as interpreting the results of spatial analysis. A wide range of real-world spatial data examples will be explored, including income distribution, real estate prices, election results, environmental conditions, pandemic spread patterns, satellite imagery, and more. The course involves active engagement in computer-based exercises using both QGIS and online tools. By the end of the course, students will have acquired essential geospatial analysis skills for their future professional or academic work.
