Only students applying in the current admission cycle are eligible for an interview.

While not required for first-year applicants, interviews are recommended for transfer applicants, and are required for Return to College (RCP) applicants. A schedule of our interview deadlines is below and note that February interviews are for fall transfer applicants only. Please register for a time and date that works for you.

While all the interviews offered in February are virtual, we are able to convert select interviews to be in-person should Fall Transfer and Return to College applicants be able to travel to campus for an in-person visit in February. We ask that you call the admission office and ask to speak with Josh Tyler if you would like to connect for an interview in-person while visiting the Bard College campus.

NOTE: If you are planning to sign up for Bard's Immediate Decision Plan, please do not sign up for an interview here. Your IDP reservation and day will include an interview.

Requirements for interviews are below and MUST be adhered to:
  • You must wear a mask when entering the Admissions building.
  • You must provide proof of COVID-19 Vaccination by bringing a photo of the vaccine card upon arrival for your interview.*
  • If you do not feel well, please stay at home and alert the Admission Office about your change in plans.
  • Please follow New York State Health and Safety Guidelines found here, during your visit.
*Accepted Vaccines and what is “Fully Vaccinated”
  • Moderna: 2 doses 4 weeks apart. Fully vaccinated is 2 weeks after the second dose.
  • Pfizer: 2 doses 3 weeks apart. Fully vaccinated is 2 weeks after the second dose.
  • J&J/Janssen: Fully vaccinated is 2 weeks after one dose.
