Prof. Michalis Nikiforos will host an informal chat about the Levy Institute’s M.A. and M.S. in Economic Theory and Policy and answer questions about admission requirements, financial aid, and prerequisites.will chat about his research and the academic programs that we offer.  We will also answer questions about requirements for admission, financial aid, international students, and more.

The two-year M.S. is open to both US and international students and offers an unprecedented combination of advanced economics instruction with the opportunity to take part in research seminars where students work alongside the Institute’s teams of expert scholars. In recognition of the program’s goal of creating professionally and socially qualified thinkers to overcome 21st-century challenges, the M.S. degree has recently been reclassified as a STEM program, presenting students with enhanced opportunities for funding and postgraduate placement. 

The one-year M.A. is only open to US residents and concentrates on alternative approaches to economic theory, offering a solid foundation in neoclassical and alternative economic theory, policy, and empirical research methods and serving as a starting point to the pursuit of an advanced degree.

Registration is required and your application fee will be waived if you attend.
